Vampire Survivors has been around since 2021, offering exhilarating rounds of enemy waves to take down in a variety of levels, using several unique characters. The game with level-ups, abilities, and power-ups gets increasingly more fun and difficult as the 30-minute match progresses. While the game can seem a bit too difficult for new players, slowly some players become accustomed to the gameplay and are then able to progress through the levels of Vampire Survivors.
For players who feel that they can survive in Vampire Survivors beyond the standard cycle of 30 minutes, developers Poncle introduced the Endless Mode. As the name suggests, this mode continues beyond the 30 minutes and keeps going until the player is defeated. Each time a player completes 30 minutes in an Endless Mode round, they complete one cycle. With each cycle, enemy health increases by 100%, damage goes up by 25%, and the amount of enemies increases by 50%, making survival progressively tougher. Furthermore, player damage also decreases by one per cycle.
Vampire Survivors was recently released on PlayStation consoles so for all new and existing players looking for a tougher challenge, the Endless Mode can be worth a try.
To unlock Endless Mode in Vampire Survivors, players must first complete the final stage known as Eudaimonia Machine. The stage has to be unlocked first, and it can be unlocked by collecting 11 relics in the game. Most of these are unlocked while playing different levels, while the Mindbender relic is earned by having 50 entries in the collection.
Here are all the relics you need to unlock and how to unlock them:
Relic | Location |
---|---|
Ars Gouda | Dairy Plant |
Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane | Bone Zone |
Glass Vizard | Moongolow |
Great Gospel | Cappella Magna |
Grim Grimoire | Inlaid Library |
Magic Banger | Green Acres |
Mindbender | Unlocked by having 50 entries in the collection |
Milky Way Map | Dairy Plant |
Randomazzo | Gallo Tower |
Sorceress’ Tears | Gallo Tower |
Yellow Sign | Holy Forbidden |
When all of these relics are collected, the final stage Eudaimonia Machine will be unlocked in Vampire Survivors. When players go to Eudaimonia Machine for the first time, they will come across a shadowy entity with hands during the round.
Walking into the entity will trigger an interaction, followed by a question. Players will be met with two choices, they can either answer that their experience has been “Too Hard” or “Too Easy”. Select “Too Hard” which unlocks Endless Mode as well as the Seventh Trumpet relic. You will now be sent back to the title screen, and you will see the Endless Mode option now available at the stage selection menu.
