No Rest for the Wicked is a complex heist in Payday 3 if you plan on stealthing your way through it. There is a lot to do and a lot of different steps to take to ensure that no alarms go off. At one point, you will be asked to turn off the power to the gate, but you won’t really get any indicator of where to go. This is what you need to do.
How to turn off power to the gate in No Rest for the Wicked in Payday 3
To turn off the power to the gate, make your way to the main security gate on the ground floor and follow the red wire. Doing so will eventually lead you to the breaker box you can use to turn off the power.
The first thing you need to do is decide how you wish to get into the bank. I would suggest taking the alley on the right, heading around the back, and then up onto the roof, as described in our guide on how to get the red and blue keycards in this level. Once you are in the stairwell, make your way down to the ground floor and then watch out for the guard and the cameras.
It is best to find the blue keycard and head for the security room to take out the guard watching the cameras before going further, so make sure you take care of that first. If you are purely interested in knowing where to find the power switch, then make your way down the hallway to the left of the entrance to the stairwell. This will bring you straight to the main security gate with the switch box beside it. Running from the switch box, you will find a thick red wire. Follow this along the wall and it will lead you to the power switch you need to hit.
The power box looks like a massive breaker box that will have on handle. Just interact with it to turn it off. There are at least three possible locations that this junction box can end up being.
- In the storage room beside the locked security gate.
- At the end of the hall in the IT room beside the manager’s office.
- At the end of the hall, to the right, near the double doors into the bank.
The next step after that will be to make sure you hit the right switch at the security door itself. That is, once again, a pretty complicated process. Thankfully, we also have a guide to help you figure out which switch is the right one.
