With Pokémon Go’s collaborative Party Play features, Trainers are never alone in their journey. Whether it’s tackling raids or overcoming challenges, you’ll always have a team by your side, fostering a sense of community that makes even the most daunting showdowns manageable.
The Max Out season aims to boost this synergy further through the highly useful Party Share feature. So, if you want to test out this latest mechanic, here’s how to share items in Pokémon Go: Party Share.
How do you share items in Pokémon Go: Party Share?
The first and most obvious step is setting up your party in Pokémon Go. You can do so by pressing your profile icon at the bottom left corner and hitting the ‘Party’ option. Now, it’s time to create or join a party using a unique QR code. However, the host must be nearby for it to work.
Once that’s set up, you’ll have access to various content, including item exchanges and group challenges. To share items in Pokémon Go: Party Share, simply press ‘Share’ here and select the ones you want to transfer.
You can send over multiple objects, such as Lucky Eggs, Star Pieces, and Incense. Each time you share one, the item’s duration is divided in half. So, if you use a 60-minute Incense, that’ll come out to 30 minutes each within the party.
Every object features a maximum limit of sharing four times a day. However, there is no daily limit on how many times a player can use said items. That means the entire party can send out valuables that may last for quite a while. But don’t mix it with other Trainer Boosts like Coin Bags or Mystery Boxes, as all the effects won’t apply here (except for extended durations from Community Days).
Any time someone shares an item with you, you’ll get notified of its activation. The perks will also stack up if there are multiple in place. In return, everyone reaps the benefits of the items, setting the party up for success.
