Time to venture into the Forest Array
Soon after arriving on the massive planet of Koboh in Star Wars Jedi Survivor, it’s time for Cal Kestis to take the Gyro Module to the Forest Array and find out more information about the hidden planet of Tanalorr. To do this, though, players have to pass through the forest gate on Koboh first.
Where to find the forest gate on Koboh
Before you can reach the forest gate, players need to have already obtained the Gyro Module from the large area underneath Greez’s Saloon. Once you have that in hand, it’s time to leave Rambler’s Outpost and head towards the forest gate, as seen in the above screenshot.
Oddly enough, though this massive white High Republic gate seems close, the path is a bit confusing. First, you want to head out the back exit of the Saloon and outpost, near where the Mantis is stationed and the animal barn.
How to traverse Swindler’s Wash
Starting head towards the gate until the road curves to the left where you’ll enter the Swindler’s Wash region of Koboh.
Here, you’ll find some droids firing off at you and a couple of walls to run up.
Once you reach the top here, you’ll find a Meditation Point and a broken bridge. Because of the broken bridge, you aren’t able to easily reach the forest gate on the other side of the ravine.
After you’re done resting, head left to circle around the ravine in this area to reach the gate on the other side.
Heading left will eventually lead you to a small water clearing below you where a Bilemaw is found (seen in the above screenshot). Either take this powerful foe out or run around it to the wall behind it. You’ll want to wall-run here to reach the other side of the ravine area.
From here, it is mostly a straight path to the gate. You’ll pass through some droids with energy weapons and a couple of ledges you’ll have to double-jump to reach.
How to open the forest gate in Jedi SurvivorÂ
You’ll want to keep going on this path until you reach the other side of the broken bridge. At this point, you’ll be right in front of the forest gate with a couple of guards you’ll need to take out. After defeating them, the coast is now clear and you can freely open up the forest gate.
All you need to do is approach the gate and you’ll be able to see a quick cutscene where Cal Kestis uses the Gyro Module to finally open up the forest gate. This is only the beginning of this quest section, though, as you’ll now have to traverse the entire complex Forest Array to find the information you seek for this part of the main story.
