The best part of building in games like Nightingale is the freedom to create small, compact bases or large-scale fortresses fit for a group of survivors. However, moving and destroying buildings is sometimes necessary to keep things organized. Here’s how to move and remove structures in Nightingale.
How to move, copy, and remove structures in Nightingale
After building a structure in Nightingale, press X to bring up your toggle build mode menu. Here, you can hover over an object and press R to move a building, Q to copy it, or hold down V to destroy it. You’ll also find your structure limits, allowing you to see how many more objects you can build in your area.
This menu differs from your standard build one. When building a structure, press B to access your structure list before selecting one and placing it down. This menu lets you rotate and adjust the building’s height before confirming your selection. Once you make your structure, you can enter your build mode menu to move, remove, or copy it. You can also swap back and forth between these modes as needed if you want to build more afterwards.
For the most part, there are no limits to how many structures you can move, copy, or remove as long as you have the resources to make more or the inventory capacity to carry materials you obtain from destroying buildings. You can freely manage your structures whenever you arrive back at your base as long as no enemies are nearby to interrupt.
