The First Descendant is a third-person looter shooter that drops you into a colossal world fighting for the remnants of humanity. However, there’s no way you can do that if you haven’t linked up your account to Nexon.
You and up to three friends can hop into missions in The First Descendant to take on hordes of enemies and its bosses for loot in the climb to grow stronger. While it had a few issues with in-game currency, shaders, and video memory at launch, the biggest hurdle you might face is just loading into the game without being stopped because you haven’t set up your accounts properly.
How to link your PlayStation, Steam & Xbox accounts to Nexon for The First Descendant
To link your Nexon account to the account for the device you’re playing The First Descendant on, be that PC, PlayStation, or Xbox, you need to first hit the game’s account linking page. From there, you can select where you’re playing and follow the steps to link your account to a Nexon one.
Note that if you have 2-factor authentication enabled on any of these accounts, you’ll need to follow additional steps to first log into your account before you can link it. We managed this just fine, but if you find that you can’t link your account and that the website redirects you to the home page, check The First Descendant‘s Twitter account to see if there are any known issues.
If you still don’t see any known issues but can’t link your account, visit the official Nexon support page for the game. You can submit a ticket and have your issue looked into by one of the support team.
