In addition to fiery dragons and colossal ogres, gelatinous-like enemies prove just as challenging. No matter how many strikes you land on this foe, its health bar doesn’t seem to budge, making it feel almost impossible to take down. So, if you are tired of succumbing to this goo, here’s how to kill Slime in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Best ways to kill Slime in Dragon’s Dogma 2
For starters, it should be noted that Slime is immune to physical attacks, so swords and arrows without any buffs will not do damage. Elemental attacks, especially fire-based strikes, work best with this enemy. I’ve tested out some techniques, and each seemed successful, such as an Archer’s Explosive/Erupting Shots, a Theif’s Ignited Blades, and a Mage’s High Flagaration. Other elementals, like lightning and ice, could also be plausible, but just be sure not to use physical tactics.
You must watch out for the Slime’s movements since they can grab you as if trapped inside jello. I got out of this by using a fire attack, which immediately set me free. Debilitations will also be inflicted on the character when too close, so use curatives to get rid of them. Certain potions can heal all adverse effects, such as Allheal Elixir and curing grimoires. Inns and campsites can also remedy Slime or other enemies’ Debilitation effects.
When you kill a Slime in Dragon’s Dogma 2, it drops the Greenish Slime resource. This material can be used to enhance various gear at any Smithy location. But if you want some extra gold, it can be sold for roughly 240 G. Although Slime doesn’t have a set location, it primarily spawns during the daytime for those looking to grab this resource.
