How to install Lethal Company More Emotes mod

Turns out there are many ways to scream in space.

Voice chat imbues Lethal Company with infinite chances of creating meaningful organic interactions and hilarious memes. I love the feature, even when you’re running mods that allow monsters to mimic your teammates. Still, I want a few more ways to express myself.

If you’re on the shy side — or just a very tactical player — maybe adding a bunch of emotes to Lethal Company is the thing that will greatly improve your experience. If that’s you, then you should really look into the More Emotes mod.

Installing more emotes

First, you’ll need to head over to Thunderstore’s mod page. There, click ‘manual download’ for the More Emotes mod, as well as BepInEx-BepInExPack and Ozone-Runtime_Netcode_Patcher, if you don’t have them already.

Then, extract the contents of both folders to your Lethal Company installation folder.

If you need help finding the installation folder, go to your Steam library, right-click on Lethal Company, and choose properties. A window will pop up. Pick the Installed Files tab and click on Browse.

After doing that, you should be greeted by a fuller emote wheel after booting up Lethal. A few are quite rude, but get the message across when a friend gets you killed.

You can now twerk, clap, give the monsters or teammates the bird, and do that thing where anime characters shily press the tips of their index fingers together, among other things. This is one of those mods that add absolutely nothing that will hinder your fun. This is the kind of mod that will prompt other players to ask you “How the hell are you doing that?”, and earn you a lot of cool-player points.

On top of that, the mod seems pretty stable. Still, there are a few things to possibly take into account. The makers of the mod warn that even though none of the emotes produce songs, some do produce sounds, which the enemies might hear. Be weary of that, otherwise you might end up with a new Youtube-worthy death.

You can now emote even harder in Lethal Company on PC.
