As much as I enjoy Wuthering Waves, there is no denying that much of the game involves getting to grips with its unique lexicon. If you need to know how to increase your Union Level then I have you covered with this helpful guide.
How to increase your Union Level
To increase your Union Level, you should focus on the following tasks.
- The main story quests
- Side quests that you can find around the map, marked by blue question marks when you get close to them
- Quests for your party members and companions
- Activities like boss fights against the World Bosses or anything that uses Waveplates.
- Exploring the world. There are lots of things to do in the world of Wuthering Waves, and as you solve puzzles, find treasure, and complete challenges, you will get more and more experience to increase your Union Level. Generally speaking, the rarest the treasure or the more difficult the task, the more Union EXP you will receive, but the vast majority of things that you can do should give you some form of Union EXP.
A lot of progress in Wuthering Wavers is actually gated behind your Union Level. This is to ensure that you spend some time exploring the game’s world and not just speedrunning from boss to boss. You will need to break through certain ceilings in order to ascend characters, progress the story, and take on tougher challenges. You can also get nice rewards for hitting certain levels. If you check the events tab, there is an event called the Awakening Journey. It never ends and will give you rewards as you hit level five, and then every 10 levels after that.
How to increase your SOL3 Phase
Your SOL3 Phase can only increase as your Union Level does. When you hit levels 20, 40, and 60 for your Union Level, you will need to complete a Sol 3 Phase Ascension quest. Doing so will increase your level, which basically means the difficulty of your world will increase, but the rewards that drop from enemies will also get better. Your world difficulty will be capped until you pass that quest, but if you wish, you can lower the SOL3 level via the main menu screen to make things easier while you are farming. There honestly isn’t much reason to do this, as keeping your characters and equipment on par with your difficulty level should be quite easy to do as long as you focus and don’t spread your resources too thin.
