Best ways to get weapon double XP tokens in MW2 and Warzone 2.0
MW2 and Warzone 2.0 weapon double XP tokens give players twice the amount of weapon experience they would normally get for a predetermined amount of time. For example, depending on the token, the XP bonus could last for an hour, 30 minutes, 15 minutes, and so on.
These are incredibly helpful if you want to unlock all of the weapon attachments and endgame mastery camos, such as the diamond camo and more. Below are the best ways you can get some double weapon XP tokens right now.
Buy the Vault Edition
The first option for getting these elusive tokens isn’t for everyone. If you haven’t bought MW2 yet, you can pick up the Vault Edition. This is mainly for players who exclusively play Warzone 2.0.
Vault Edition is a pricey version of the game at roughly $100 on each platform. However, among the various cosmetics and extras you get, this version comes with a whopping 10 hours worth of weapon double XP tokens.
Beat the MW2 campaign
If you already have MW2, one of the easiest (and free) ways of getting these tokens is through the campaign. The singleplayer campaign has 17 missions in total, and three of those missions offer a double weapon XP token for completion:

Watch the Call of Duty League live on Twitch
One of the most popular ways to get free double XP tokens is to watch the Call of Duty League live. Even if you aren’t directly invested in the 12 pro teams, simply leave the stream on in the background. Make sure not to fully mute it, as this could disqualify you from recieving viewership credit.
Purchase certain promotional items
With the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Activision is offering some limited-time promotional items. Set to release in physical grocery stores in the near future, themed Monster Energy offers players free double XP codes for every purchase.
All you need to do is buy one of these Monster Energy cans and then visit the Monster website. Sign in with your Activision account, put in the can’s code, and you can earn rewards like 15 minutes of double XP and even some skins.
Wait for a double XP weekend
Finally, your last option is to wait for a double XP weekend. Infinity Ward usually hosts these weekends a few times a season to let players quickly rank up weapons and levels. Though they only last for a few days, you can get a lot done during this time.
Just be sure to grind Shipment and Shoot House as much as possible once a double XP weekend rolls around.
