Reaper's lookin' cool as always.

Alongside the introduction of Overwatch 2’s Classic event series, we have new skins to check out as usual, with Ringleader Reaper being the easiest to unlock. As a bonus, it’s free to get, even if it’ll take a few hours. More specifically, you’ll need 15 hours.

How to unlock the Ringleader Reaper Skin in Overwatch 2

The only way to unlock Reaper’s Ringleader skin is to watch Overwatch 2 streams on Twitch for 15 hours. From now until November 22, 2024, Blizzard is hosting a Season 13 Midseason event on Twitch that allows you to collect various rewards, with the Ringleader skin being the fourth and final reward.

How to participate in Overwatch 2’s Twitch Drop event

Participating in Overwatch 2’s Season 13 Midseason Twitch event requires having any Overwatch Twitch stream with the “DropsEnabled” tag open somewhere on your PC, mobile, or any other device that supports Twitch. Your progress is linked to your account, so ensure you’re logged in to get credit for your time.

Whether you actively watch and chat with your favorite streamer or just have a random one on the side while playing other games is entirely up to you. As long as you have a stream with the “DropsEnabled” tag open somewhere, you’ll gain progress toward each reward. You also don’t have to stick to the same streamer if you want to explore other content creators or if your favorite only streams for a few hours at a time.

However, the Ringleader Reaper Skin isn’t the only one available to obtain. Below is every Overwatch 2 Season 13 Midseason Twitch event reward and their hour requirements:

  • Ringleader Reaper Icon: Four hours
  • Ringleader Reaper Spray: Seven hours
  • Ringleader Name Card: 11 hours
  • Ringleader Reaper Skin: 15 hours

In short, it’ll likely take longer than one day for you to get the skin unless you have a stream open from morning until night.

How to claim the Overwatch 2 Ringleader Reaper Skin

Once you watch a few Overwatch Twitch streams for at least 15 hours, you’ll be eligible to claim your Ringleader Reaper Skin and use it in your next match. Below are the steps to claiming your Overwatch 2 Twitch drops:

  1. Log into your Twitch account.
  2. Watch some Overwatch 2 streams until you reach 15 hours.
  3. Connect your Twitch and Blizzard accounts.
  4. Claim your rewards through your Twitch drops inventory.
  5. Log into Overwatch 2.

Since your Twitch and Blizzard accounts are connected, everything will appear in-game automatically after you claim each item. However, you may have to wait up to 24 hours, especially during the first few days when everyone’s trying to claim their new Reaper skin.
