How to get the Hunter outfit in Jedi Survivor

The hunter outfit in Jedi Survivor

The finest hunter in the galaxy

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has a seemingly endless galaxy to explore. The second game in the franchise takes a massive step up over Fallen Order in terms of exploration. The increased size of the game naturally leads to more side quests, items to find, and areas to uncover. Players can unlock a myriad of outfits to make their version of Cal Kestis their own. One of the cooler outfits to unlock in the game is the hunter outfit. The rugged design looks more like an ensemble from Monster Hunter than it does a Star Wars game, and that’s part of what makes it so awesome.

To completely unlock the hunter outfit, you’ll need to find six elements. All of the pieces can be found on the planet of Koboh, which is discovered relatively early in the game. Three of the chests contain the actual hunter items: the pants, shirt, and jacket. The other three chests will unlock the color palettes that allow you to customize the hunter outfit piece colors.

To find all of the pieces, you’ll need to complete the Koboh storyline. Without spoiling the story, you’ll know that you have all of the chests available to you when the next part of your main story quest is to leave the planet. However, one of the chests cannot be unlocked without BD-1’s Electro Dart ability. Still, it’s only needed to unlock one of the color palettes, so you can still get the full outfit without it.

How to find every hunter outfit piece in Jedi Survivor

Hunter Shirt: Koboh – Basalt Rift

From the Basalt Rift meditation point on Koboh, head across the broken bridge where the Stormtroopers and B1 droids are fighting. Continue to the wall vines with the grapple point. To access the hunter shirt chest, you will need to climb down the vines to get to the ledge below. There, the hunter shirt chest awaits, as seen in the screenshot above.

After getting the hunter shirt, continue across the chasm via the vines. Follow the path until you get to the waterfall that Cal slides down. At the bottom of the waterfall, a Bilemaw runs out of a cave fighting two Stormtroopers. The hunter pants are in the Bilemaw’s lair. Go into the cave that the Bilemaw came out of to find the chest with the hunter pants.

Go to the Forest Array meditation point and head to the left.  Cross the area with the Koboh Dust and use the grapple point on the other side. Once you’re at the top of the wall, you will be able to see the chest on the lower platform, as in the picture above. Jump across to open it.

After unlocking the second hunter shirt chest, head to the platforms opposite the previous Koboh Dust area. Cross the platforms and climb up the walls. From the top, you can see the chest with the hunter pants, as seen in the picture above. To get there, go down, climb up the wall, and cross the ledge with the handholds. Cross all the way to get to the chest.

Hunter Jacket: Koboh – Rambler’s Reach Outpost

Go to the Rambler’s Reach Outpost meditation point and climb up the vines immediately in front of the spawn spot. Follow the path around the mountain to the left and into Hunter’s Quarry. Go up the hill. Close to the top of the hill, there is a ledge on the left-hand side. Jump up onto the ledge at the lowest point. There’s a gorocco between you and the chest that you will need to defeat. After beating it, the chest can be found at the end of the sanctuary.

Once again, from the Rambler’s Reach Outpost, you now need to head to Untamed Downs. However, before getting the final piece of the Hunter outfit ensemble, you’ll need BD-1’s Electro Dart ability that unlocks red chests. If you don’t have it yet, you’ll need to come back to this one later.

Go towards the stables, represented on the map by the Nekko symbol, and cross the river from there. Head to the right and go up the hill. The red chest is at the edge of the cliff. Shoot the Electro Dart across the cliffs to open the chest.

That’s it! You’re now ready to hit the town as the freshest hunter around.
