Keeping with Persona 3 tradition, The Velvet Room’s attendant, Elizabeth, has the protagonist run errands for her in Persona 3 Reload. Her request? Bring her some strong medicine. Here’s the rundown on how to find it.
Elizabeth Request #20: Bring me some potent medicine
- Task: Bring 1 Potent Medicine.
- Deadline: None
- Reward: (1) Steel Pipe
- Speak to the nurse (Mr. Edogawa) the morning after going to Tartarus to get the medicine.
This time around, Elizabeth wants you to get her some medicine. She’s not hurt. Just curious. You know how it is. Elizabeth doesn’t want just any medicine. She wants the hard stuff, something potent. Usually, stuff like that requires a prescription, and being part of SEES doesn’t include insurance (nor does Elizabeth’s workplace). However, there is someone who might help us in acquiring some of the strong stuff.
Unlike some missions, like the pine resin and game console, this request can be done at any time and has no deadline. It unlocks on June 13 (6/13), so, on or after that date, you can accept the request. If you want to reap the benefits early (in this case, the powerful Steel Pipe for the Protagonist), I’d jump on it as quickly as possible. Luckily, it’s not hard to get your hands on the potent medicine. Do note that you can only get the item if you accept the request.
Before you go get the medicine, you have to have a reason for it first. So, in the evening, venture into Tartarus and slay some Shadows. You don’t have to be there for too long, but I always take the opportunity if I’m there to level up and get better at recognizing weaknesses. Plus, it’s good to make some progress instead of one-shotting it in one night.
After you think you’ve done enough in Tartarus, call it a night and go to school the next day. Then, after classes end, go to the Nurse’s Office on the first floor across from the Library. Mr. Edogawa, rightly cautious by your request, threatens you for asking for it. But this is Persona, so of course, he’ll oblige and let you have it. However, he does say if you do anything bad with it, he’ll “curse your kneecaps.”
Best not to find out more about that fun tidbit. Bring the medicine back to Elizabeth outside of the Velvet Room in Paulownia Mall, and she’ll reward you with the Steel Pipe.
