How to get Plastoid in LEGO Fortnite

A useful resource.

If you’ve jumped into LEGO Fortnite‘s Star Wars crossover, you’ll have seen the giant Star Destroyed crashland in your world. Not only is there now wreckage strewn across your island, but you can now build Star Wars-themed buildings and items—if you have Plastoid.

If you want to create some cool Star Wars-themed items, you’ll need Plastoid to build the Rebel Workbench. Plastoid is then used in the recipes that the Workbench unlocks, but it’s not really explained how to get it.

That’s where I come in, as I can tell you how to get Plastoid in LEGO Fortnite.

LEGO Fortnite: How to get Plastoid, explained

There are two ways to get Plastoid in LEGO Fortnite, although one is significantly easier than the other.

Destroy Star Wars-themed structures

The easiest way to get Plastoid is to destroy Star Wars structures. Head towards where the Star Destroyer crashed, and you should stumble on a few outposts along the way. Specifically, break the large white boxes as they drop the most Plastoid, but you’ll still get some from other structures too.

Kill Stormtroopers

Your other option is to eliminate Stormtroopers, but because they have armor and inflict lots of damage, I would only do this as a last resort. If you’re going to take them on, make sure to take some Villagers with you as backup, and ensure you are geared up.

What can you make with Plastoid?

Once you have Plastoid, you can unlock the following recipes:

  • Rebel Workbench
  • Macrobinoculars
  • Lightsabers
  • DL-44 Blaster
  • E-11 Blaster
  • Bowcaster
  • Thermal Detonator

There are plenty of weapons in there, so if you want to armor yourself to the teeth, this is a resource you definitely need to get your hands on it.
