Gobblegums are a helpful little item that first appeared in Black Ops 3 and have since reappeared in Black Ops 6. Although some are mainly useful in niche situations, others are very helpful and can get you out of a tough spot if you use them at the right time.
Where to get more Gobblegums in BO6
Black Ops 6 offers three main ways to get Gobblegums:
- Use Gobblegum machines
- Completing Zombies rounds
- Reach player-level milestones
- Purchase Vault Edition to get a 12-pack of Gobblegums
Your first option is to interact with any Gobblegum machine around the map you’re playing. It appears as a purple gumball machine with a five-minute cooldown. More often than not, you’ll get blue rare-grade Gobblegum, but it’s worth trying in case you get lucky.
You’ll randomly obtain Gobblegums as a round reward as you play Zombies matches. While you won’t get this every round, they appear fairly often, giving you plenty of opportunities to get some for free. The longer you last, the more chances you have to obtain some Gobblegums.
Alternatively, you can get Gobblegums by upgrading to COD BO6’s Vault Edition. Vault Edition gives you a Zombies Gobblegum pack, giving you a quick and easy way to obtain 12 high-grade ones.
If you’re specifically looking for Whimsical Gobblegums, you’ll have to rely on Exfils. If you Exfil after round 15, you’ll receive one Whimsical Gobblegum, with later rounds giving more. Making it past round 45 gives you three, so it’s worth sticking around longer if you want to get both Whimsical Gobblegum variants.
What are Gobblegums?
Gobblegums are a one-time use ball that your character can eat during your Zombies matches. Each one grants you a special, ranging from teleporting to a random location to spawning particular powerups. The rarest and highest quality Gobblegums can even upgrade your weapon or spawn all core powerups simultaneously.
You can encounter five different Gobblegum rarities:
- Rare
- Epic
- Legendary
- Ultra
- Whimsical
Once you obtain a Gobblegum, you’ll keep it in your inventory until you use it. You can’t share them with your squad, but you can use them at any point during your match to reap it’s benefits.

Black Ops 6 has 28 Gobblegums you can obtain from various sources. Below is every Gobblegum, their rarities, and their effect.
