How to get Gauss Prime Relics in Warframe

No such thing as slowing down with this speedy boi.

It’s time, Tenno. Volt’s rival is here in all his gold-trimmed glory. Don’t worry, you can obtain the speedy boi for free by farming. In any case, here is what you need to do to get Gauss Prime and his Relics in Warframe.

  • Chassis: Neo W1 Common
  • Systems: Lith G9 Rare
  • Neuroptics: Meso H5 Uncommon

The best Lith Relic Farm

To earn Lith-tier Relics quickly, your best bet is to farm the missions Hepit and Teshub in the Void. Every time you complete either mission, you are rewarded a random Lith Relic. The only thing is that you are not guaranteed the newest Relic that contains the Prime part you’re looking for.

The best Meso Relic Farm

Similar to Lith Relics, you will be taking on the Exterminate mission, Oxomoco, or the Capture mission, Ukko, in the Void. These missions will either reward you with a Meso Relic or a Neo Relic. Because of this, you can also farm Neo Relics with the same method.

The best Neo Relic Farm

To add to the method of getting Meso Relics, you can farm Neo Relics in the Mot node in the Void. They will drop for both A and B rotations, meaning you’ll earn three of those Relics after 15 minutes of survival.

The best Axi Relic Farm

To kill two birds with one stone, try surviving up until the 20-minute mark in your Mot run. Axi Relics are guaranteed to drop on the C-rotation. It is a bit of a slower method compared to the other three tiers of Relics, but it is consistent.

Alternative forms of farming Prime Relics

If you are looking to farm Relics elsewhere to prevent burnout and to diversify gameplay approaches, you can do that. The vendors in the open-world areas and other places sell Relic Packs that you can buy with their respective standing. Here are the vendors along with their locations:

  • Old Man Suumbaat: Cetus, Earth
  • Otak: Necralisk, Deimos
  • Smokefinger: Fortuna, Venus
  • Teshin: Any Relay

You can also reach Rank 2 with your respective Syndicates and buy Relic Packs through them. It isn’t guaranteed that you’ll earn Relics for the Prime you’re looking for, but there’s always that small chance. Loot pools are quite large.

Basically, you can only buy and obtain Relics of a certain tier without a guarantee of getting the exact one you want. The more you farm and earn multiple ones, the higher your likelihood of getting the ones you need.

Even with having the Relic containing the Prime part you’re looking for, it won’t be guaranteed that you will get the drop you desire. Just keep at it with the farming or seek out other players who may have the parts over in the trade chat. Keep in mind that newer Primes tend to be more expensive.
