Nexon’s latest release is off to a decent start on PC and consoles, although there are some notable issues with gameplay and microtransactions. Thankfully, this special pack is available to all PlayStation Plus subscribers at no extra cost. While the items might not be very useful in the long run, they will provide players with a good head start.

How to unlock The First Descendant PlayStation Plus pack

Unlocking this bonus pack is pretty easy as long as you have a valid subscription. The process mentioned requires the use of a console, so keep that in mind.

  • Go to the PlayStation store on your console.
  • Search the game.
  • Load the game page, and scroll down to the Add-ons section.
  • Here, you can check the different quantities of Caliber (the game’s premium currency). Scroll to the right, and you’ll find the PlayStation Plus Pack.
  • Add it to your library. You’ll have to purchase it, but don’t worry—there will be no monetary deductions.
  • Just load up the game, and the content will be available to use in the game.

The First Descendant PlayStation Plus pack contents

Here are all the items that you’ll find from the exclusive pack.

  • Resolve weapon skin
  • Metal Matte Peach Fuzy, Matte Jelly Blue, Glossy Dolphin Gray – 3 common paints
  • The Trio – Spray
  • Pink Storage Box – Back attachment

Interestingly, the game offers cross-progression, which allows you to use the same account across different platforms. If you have a PlayStation Plus membership, you should be potentially able to use the content on other platforms (I haven’t tested it as I am playing so far on my PlayStation 5).

While the pack items are decent for free content, they don’t provide an unfair advantage to subscribers. Of course, you can purchase additional in-game items using Caliber, and there’s a battle pass available as well.
