The Velvet Room’s curious assistant, Elizabeth, has a long list of requests inPersona 3 Reload. This time, she asks you to bring her some Chilled Taiyaki. It seems like a simple task, but there’s a few extra steps along the way. Luckily, we’ve got you covered on how to fulfill Request #38
Elizabeth Request #38: I want to eat some chilled taiyaki
- Task: Bring (1) Chilled Taiyaki
- Deadline: None
- Reward: (1) Nihil Cloth
- Go to Club Escapade and buy the School X Site Note URL. Access the URL via the shared computer at the dorm, and you’ll unlock Lukewarm Taiyaki at the school’s store. Then, put it in the fridge, making it Chilled Taiyaki.
Throughout the game, Elizabeth has had an insatiable appetite for the human world. Now, it seems she craves food, specifically the Japanese dessert known as taiyaki. It translates to ‘baked fish’ and is traditionally served warm by street vendors. Perhaps this was lost in translation for Elizabeth, as she wants it cold since the ‘fish’ isn’t grilled like usual. It’s a weird request but that’s what we’re here for.
There’s no deadline for this request, so you can do it whenever you want. It unlocks for the player on July 9 (7/9), which lands after defeating the Hierophant and Lovers Arcana bosses on July 7 (7/7). If you want to reap the benefit of the Nihil Cloth (it’ll be useful once the Antique store opens in Paulownia Mall), I’d get on it immediately.
There’s only one prerequisite to the request and that’s access to Club Escapade, which can only be entered with a Level 2 Courage (Ordinary). You should be at that level at this point, but if you aren’t, utilize Karaoke and Wilduck to build that up.
Getting the Taiyaki
When you enter Club Escapade, go to the Suspicious Man in the far corner and buy the School X Site Note URL for ¥500. After you’ve done that, return to the dorm and use the shared computer to open the URL. It’ll talk about a secret menu item at the School Store called Lukewarm Taiyaki.
Once you get to school, go to the store and the vendor will give you access to the item. Purchase one for ¥200, though you can get more to have for Tartarus. As you can see, the product is lukewarm. Luckily, we have a fridge at the dorm we can put it in.
Now, there are times when the fridge is full and you can’t put anything in it. If that’s the case, check back each day. I got lucky on July 12 (7/12), but you can guarantee a space at the end and start of a month, as it’s cleaned out.
Anyway, if there’s a space, take it and come back to it the next day. It’ll become Chilled Taiyaki and you’ll be able to give it to Elizabeth at Paulownia Mall next time you see her.
