How to Get and Evolve Itadori in Anime Vanguards [UPDATE 1]

It might take a while.

Anime VanguardsUpdate 1 added a new array of popular anime characters, with Yuji Itadori, known in the game as Itaduri, as one of many options. He’s a Mythic-grade unit with some beefy stats, but fortunately, he’s relatively easy to find. You just need to get a little lucky.

How to get Itadori in Anime Vanguards

You can obtain Itadori by getting lucky and pulling him into the Summons menu. By visiting Hercool, the Summon NPC, and spending 50 Gems per roll, you have a 2.1 percent chance of pulling Itaduri if you land the 0.5 percent odds of getting a Mythic unit.

With that said, Itaduri is an extremely rare character to pull. Anime Vanguards has two layers to its Summons system. First, you need to get lucky enough to pull a Mythic unit. While you have just over a 75 percent chance of getting a rare unit with one spin, Mythic units have a 0.5 percent chance. You can expect around one in every 200 spins to land you a Mythic.

From there, every Mythic unit has different odds of appearing. Usually, you’ll land a character like Noruto or Guji since they have much higher odds of appearing than someone like Itadori. To put this into perspective, he has the same odds as units like Cha-In, Obita, or Song Jinwu.

The exception to this is the Mythic Pity. If you don’t manage to get a Mythic-grade unit after 400 pulls, Anime Vanguards will automatically give you one. In the best-case scenario, it’ll be Itaduri.

In short, you need to get very lucky to get Itaduri. Don’t be surprised if it takes over 1,000 pulls, even if you activate Mythic Pity.

How to evolve Itadori in Anime Vanguards

Unlike characters such as Toji, who are relatively easy to evolve, Itadori can’t currently be evolved beyond his base form. If you attempt to evolve him at the Evolution NPC, you’ll simply see a message saying he’s not ready yet.

Although it’s not available yet, this will likely change in the future. You can even prepare for it ahead of time by farming for Cursed Fingers, which are part of Itaduri’s evolution. You can get Cursed Fingers by playing Shibuya Station Infinite mode and defeating Sukuna. Although you can’t use them to evolve Itaduri yet, having some on hand for when this feature is implemented will save you some time.
