The Tusk evolution is back in A Universal Time (AUT) as part of the 4.0 update, and it’s stronger than ever if you can manage to get all the unique powers.
You’ll come across four different powers, which can be obtained from four different acts. Usually, the process is chronological in nature, but there’s a bit of turning back to a previous stage in one case. Let’s take a look at how you can obtain all the Tusk evolutions to help it reach its maximum potential.
A Universal Time (AUT) Tusk evolutions explained
The first evolution that you can obtain is available in Act 1, followed by Act 2. Then comes Act 3 and Act 4, but they are interconnected. Let’s find out how you can obtain all of them.

| Act 1 | Talk with Gyro Zeppeli (you can find him near the top of the Desert approach). You’ll obtain a quest and complete it to get temporary Spin energy. Once done, use Saints Ribcage on Standless to get the first evolution. Make sure to complete the full process, as quitting the server will reset your Spin energy. |
| Act 2 | Level up Act 1 ability to level 200 and speak to Gyro (Act 2) NPC> He can be found near the Park, and will provide you with a quest. Complete the quest, gain Saint’s arms, and use it to evolve Tusk Act 1 to Act 2. |
| Act 3 | Reach Ascension 2 on Tusk Act 2 and then use the Dark Determination move. Keep in mind, this won’t guarantee an evolution to Act 3, as there’s a 60% chance of failure. |
| Act 4 | Speak with Gyro (Act 4) NPC near Alabasta, and you’ll be tasked to investigate Funny Valentine. You’ll need to find four clues within a set amount of time, which can be tricky as the spawns are completely random in nature. Go and speak with Gyro after you’ve found all the clues, and he will order you to kill Funny Valentine. Once you kill Funny with Tusk Act 3, you’ll be able to get the final evolution. Be careful at this step, for failure to complete the investigation will lead to your death. |
