How can I practice when there's no zone for practice?!

XDefiant is finally available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms, letting people finally enjoy the full experience thanks to its free-to-play nature. With its launch, you get access to the Unranked, Ranked Trial, and Practice Zone. That is if one of them wasn’t completely greyed out. Here’s how to fix the XDefiant Practice Zone not working.

Can you fix the XDefiant Practice Zone being greyed out?

As of writing, the XDefiant Practice Zone is unavailable. No matter what challenges you manage to complete or whatever menus you access, the Practice Zone will continue to remain greyed out. The reason for this hasn’t been disclosed by Ubisoft, but it’s possible that the game’s intermittent server issues might have something to do with it. No matter what it is, you’ll need to wait for further updates from Ubisoft before getting access to it.

Once you do have access to the Practice Zone, it has several areas that can help you improve your skills. Notably, there’s a training course that tests how fast you can run through various environmental obstacles while destroying targets. This helps improve your aim on the fly while helping you get from point A to point B as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, they always say that practice makes perfect. Unranked isn’t as serious as Ranked, so it can make for a good testing ground not just for your skills, but also for testing loadouts. One such aspect of loadouts is through the faction you choose. You can see the list of factions in our guide.
