According to Diablo Global Director of Community Adam Fletcher, the goal is still to launch this evening and he anticipates a delay of no more than a couple of hours. At approximately 7pm EST, Adam indicated that the login servers were locked and that Steam players could now download the 2.0.2 patch for launch.

Until the servers come back online, and Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred officially launches, you will not be able to login to access the game and will continue to receive errors such as Unable to find a valid license.

We will update this post in realtime throughout the evening as we join you in the excitement for the first Diablo 4 expansion launch! What class do you plan to go first? Spiritborn, right?
