The Master Marksman Rune is a hunter-class rune that can be engraved on the Chest (or robe) slot. It is a unique level 1 rune that “teaches you a new Engraving ability” once obtained. The Master Marksman Rune can provide you with a 5% increase of a critical hit as well as reducing the Mana cost of all Shot abilities by 25% once obtained.
There are numerous different runes that you can obtain throughout World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery — 108, to be exact. Runes, or rune engraving to describe the action of using runes, is a character customization system that was introduced in Season of Discovery. This allows players to add skill abilities directly to their equipment rather than adding them through talents.
There are two zones and four different locations in which you can find this particular rune: Dun Morogh (Alliance Zone), Durotar (Horde Zone), Mulgore (Horde Zone) and Tedrassil (Alliance Zone).
Dun Morogh (Alliance Zone)
Once in Dun Morogh, you’re going to want to go toward Brenwall Village, as there is a rustling bush around the coordinates 29,50. Then use a Hunter’s Mark on the rustling bush to spawn a Quillboar. After the Quillboar has spawned, kill and loot it to retrieve the Master Marksman rune.
Durotar (Horde Zone)
Similar to Dun Morogh, you’re going to be looking for a rustling bush. This time, it will be located near Razor Hill; go west of Razor Hill to find the rustling bush around the coordinates 40.5,52. Then use the Hunter’s Mark on the bush to spawn an enemy. Kill and loot the enemy to retrieve the Master Marksman rune.
Mulgore (Horde Zone)
The rustling bush is the key to getting this particular rune so you guessed it, you’re going to be looking out for one in Mulgore as well. The rustling bush will be northeast of Bloodhoof Village around the coordinates 59,54. Use the Hunter’s Mark on the bush to spawn the enemy. Kill and loot the enemy to retrieve the Master Marksman rune.
Tedrassil (Alliance Zone)
This time, the rustling bush you’re looking for will be near the center of Tedrassil around the coordinates 47,46. Use the Hunter’s Mark on the bush to spawn the enemy. Kill and loot the enemy to retrieve the Master Marksman rune.
