Patient 13 is the main boss fight you undertake at Terminus, and it has existed from the very launch. However, the Directed mode emphasizes completing different objectives, and the ultimate showdown puts you up against an absolute behemoth. The chances of succeeding in this fight are low if you don’t take a strategic approach. Let’s take a look at how to defeat this ultimate boss of Terminus Island.

How to kill Patient 13 in Black Ops 6 Zombies

One part of this fight is to deal with Patient 13 and defeat it, but the more important aspect is to go in with the correct setup. First, let’s take a look at how this monster behaves during the fight. The battle with Patient 13 has three phases, and they’re triggered as you chip away one-third of its life.

Phase one is the easiest – just look out for the tentacles that can slam attack and do massive damage. You’ll want to hit its shoulders, where you’ll find glowing orbs. Hitting these orbs will do critical damage and quickly eat away one-third of health. Do note that the orbs will change between themselves as you do damage to one of them.

Phase two makes Patient 13 even more dangerous, as you’ll have to take care of its gas pores. You can do that by shooting the tentacles at the glowing yellow puss. Once you do so, the creature will have a bright orange glow, and you’ll need to shoot at its open mouth. Make sure to keep dodging the tentacles as they slam down on you. You’ll consistently have to move sideways across the map to prevent taking damage from the gas.

Phase three is a scene from your favorite horror movies because you’ll first have to survive a deadly wave of Zombies. This will include Amalgams, Manglers, and Armored Zombies, so disposing of them all won’t be easy. Patient 13’s attacks also upgrade at this point, and the biggest danger is its tongue. It can pull you into its mouth, and the only way to escape is to shoot the orbs on its shoulders. If you’re pulled in and spat out, you’ll almost always go down unless you’re in full armor and full health.

Finally, Patient 13’s eyes will start glowing, which is its weak point. However, it becomes mandatory to avoid the tentacles at this stage, as getting struck by it will mandatorily put you down, making it even harder for your team. The Chopper Gunner is an excellent way to put the final blow and finish off this manifestation.

Best tips and tricks to defeat Patient 13 in Black Ops 6 Zombies

For starters, you’ll need a well-coordinated squad of four to defeat this boss. This becomes a lot more crucial in Directed mode since you can’t end a run without getting killed (or completing the objective). Second, two of you should always focus on shooting at Patient 13, while the remaining two should kill the zombies. This will help you to hit two birds with the same stone, and you and your buddies will die less.

A fantastic combination of weapons can be a launcher and Full Auto Gobblegum, but this is an ideal condition. As a more accessible alternative, Mustang and Sally is a great choice (Akimbo GS45). Your priority should be to level their Pack-A-Punch to Level 3 and also spend the Salvage to get it to Legendary. Having the Beamsmasher to Pack-A-Punch Level 2 will also help a lot, as will the Chopper Gunner scorestreak.

For perks, I will opt between Juggermod, Speed Cola, and Deadshot Daiquiri. The PHD Flopper is a good choice, but only if you plan on doing explosive damage. As for Gobblegums, Phoenix Up is the perfect choice for escaping that one extreme situation where your teammates might be down.

In the end, it’s all about grinding out the intense battle, but don’t be sad if things don’t work out the first time. Even if you die, it will gain you a lot of XP and speed up your Season 1 battle pass progression.
