How to craft Echo Experience in Wuthering Waves 1.1

Echo EXP, but without the Tacet Field...

With the release of Wuthering Waves version 1.1, Kuro Games has given players the ability to craft echo experience for our Echoes surprisingly, the very wall withholding progress for many in the 1.0 version. As always though, there’s a method to the madness, so allow me to enlighten you on the process.

How to make Echo EXP in Wuthering Waves 1.1

To actually produce your own Echo EXP, you first need to make your way over to Mt. Firmament, the new zone introduced with the 1.1 version update. This is because the crucial material needed for the process is an ore called Fluorite and it only spawns in the Mt. Firmament zone. To begin crafting, head over to any Synthesizer located in any major city location.

Once you’ve reached a Synthesizer, interact with it and navigate over to the Constructing menu, the middle tab option. From here, you should see two different specific options: Basic Sealed Tube and Medium Sealed Tube. Both of these items provide Echo EXP in various amounts and are the very same items you acquire from participating in Tacet Fields. Both Sealed Tube types require their own amount of Fluorite, as observed when you click on either one in the menu.

  • Basic Sealed Tube – 3x Fluorite per Tube
  • Medium Sealed Tube – 6x Fluorite per Tube

When you’ve gathered enough Fluorite, simply choose either of the above two options and click Synthesize, and you’ll have your Echo EXP before you know it.

If you’ve been playing Wuthering Waves since its release, then this whole ordeal probably sounds too good to be true. Well, that’s because it is. You see, you can only craft eight of each Sealed Tube per week, meaning you’re still going to be time-gated by a mechanic that isn’t just Waveplates. Still, the ability to make your own Echo EXP without using said Waveplates is a net positive in the end.

Where to find Fluorite in Wuthering Waves

As I mentioned, Fluorite is native to Mt. Firmament and is technically located all over the zone. It looks like an icicle sticking up out of the ground. So you know what you’re looking for, here’s a screenshot of two Fluorite nodes, for your reference.

There are a few places you can go that house the ore in copious amounts. My go-to location is along the neck route of Loong’s Crest, the massive dragon head that overhangs the entire zone. Just running up there, you’ll run into several Fluorite nodes just sticking up out of the ground.

Another fantastic area to find Flourite in large amounts is along the road of Loong’s Rest. Follow the road around the area and you’ll come across Fluorite in spades. You’ll also find several Loong’s Pearls in the area, which are nice to have if you’re trying to upgrade Jinhsi.

In hindsight, the resource is pretty easy to get, but you’ll need a lot of it to craft your weekly Sealed Tubes. In total, you’ll need 72 Fluorite to craft all the Sealed Tubes you can every week. Even if you’re not planning to use them immediately, this is still worth doing so you can build up a stash of Echo EXP over the long term. Eventually, you’ll need them when the time comes, guaranteed.
