The Tree Planting Festival in Coral Island is the second event after the Cherry Blossom Festival. It takes place on Spring 21 and brings the entire community together to clear debris, prepare the soil, and plant new trees. If you’re interested in participating in and completing this event, this guide will provide you with a step-by-step process.

How to participate in the Tree Planting Festival in Coral Island

To initiate the festival, head north from your farm towards the Ranch between 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Look for a balloon and interact with it. A prompt will appear, asking if you want to start the festival. Click on “Start” to begin the event.

Once you have initiated the festival, you will be transported to the festival location. Here, you can participate in the main event by talking to Mayor Connor. Additionally, you have the opportunity to explore the grounds, interact with the villagers, and shop for special items related to growing trees.

How to complete the Tree Planting Festival in Coral Island

The main event of the Tree Planting Festival is divided into three stages, each with its own set of goals. Let’s take a closer look at how to complete each stage successfully.

Clear all the debris

The first stage of the festival requires you to clear all the debris, totaling 114, from the designated area. This includes removing grass, trash, logs, and stumps. Make sure to bring your trusty Axe and Scythe to assist you with this task.

Till the soil

Once you have cleared the debris, it is time to prepare the soil for the new saplings. In this stage, you will need to till the soil in 2×2 patches in the designated area to complete this stage. The best part is that you will not lose any stamina while doing this process.

Plant saplings

With the soil prepared, it’s time to plant the saplings and kickstart the reforestation process. You will be provided with the necessary saplings, and your task is to plant them in the prepared soil. There are 10 areas where you need to place the saplings. Once all the sapling is planted, a final cutscene will trigger, marking the completion of the main event.
