How to complete Sour but Sweet quest in Fae Farm

Upon meeting Boletal, a fun-seeking and mischievous creature, you will learn about his desire to host an exciting feast. To make this feast possible, Boletal requires several ingredients. These ingredients include:

  • 3x Fae Dust
  • 15x Clover Feed
  • 5x Spore Essence
  • 10x Violet Jellycaps
  • 5x Polished Emeralds

Obtaining the required Ingredients

Fae Dust

To acquire the 3 Fae Dust, you can catch three Sprite or Fairy critters in the Elven Village and deposit them into the Fae Critter Conservatory. In exchange, you will receive three Fae Dust.

Clover Feed

Clover Feed can be found abundantly in the Elven Village. Simply use a Sickle to harvest the clover-like plants and gather 15 units of Clover Feed.

Spore Essence

To obtain the Spore Essence, you will need to upgrade to a Feyrite Sickle. Venture into the Floating Ruins and find Sporeweed. Convert the Sporeweed into Spore Essence using the Potion Ingredient Station. You will need four Sporeweeds to obtain one Spore Essence.

Violet Jellycaps

Violet Jellycaps are vibrant purple mushrooms found in abundance in the Elven Village. Keep an eye out for tall, slim mushrooms with a distinct purple coloration, and gather 10 of them.

Polished Emeralds

Upgrade to a Feyrite Pickaxe to mine Rough Emeralds in the Floating Ruins. Once you have obtained Rough Emeralds, use the Gem Polisher to convert them into Polished Emeralds. The conversion rate is 10:1, so you will need ten Rough Emeralds to obtain one Polished Emerald.

Completing the Sour but Sweet quest in Fae Farm

Once you have gathered all the required ingredients, bring them to Boletal. After presenting him with the ingredients, Boletal will ask you to return the next day to perform a spell that will reduce the miasma in the dungeon.

When the next day arrives, a story sequence will unfold, marking the completion of Chapter Five in the game. As a reward for your efforts, you will receive a new magic spell for your staff called Faerie Fire. This spell can be used at crystal gaps to create bridges, particularly the one leading to your Fae Acres farm.
