As you get further into Echoes of Wisdom, you’re going to find even more side quests you can take on. While they aren’t heavy in storytelling, they do make for a great way to get stronger and unlock more echoes.
Snowball Magic is one of those side quests, whereby completing it you’ll be rewarded with a Piece of Heart. However, if you don’t know how to do it, it can be tough. That’s what we’re here for.

This side quest can be picked up in the Hebra Mountains, inside of Condé’s House. Note that you need to complete the Lands of the Goddesses main story quest before you can get this one, so if you haven’t done so, it won’t be available.
All you need to do is talk to Condé, and he’ll talk to you about how he wants Big Brother to visit, but he’ll need clear weather to do so. It’s up to Princess Zelda and Tri to solve this problem.

To get the snowy weather to clear up, you’ll need to bring a snowball that glitters like the sun to a specific point on the mountain. Condé will warp you to the point where these glittering snowballs are found and point out the spot where you need to take one. It’s a small platform with two ice spikes in front.
To successfully move the snowball, stand below the ledge where the glittering snowballs are rolling. Using the ZL button to target one, use the Bind ability to lock onto it so you can move it freely.Â
You’ll want to make sure you bind it before it starts to roll down the hill, so it will be above many of the obstacles. Luckily, snowballs are continually rolling on this ledge, so if you miss the first one, just keep trying.
With the glittering snowball, you can simply walk it to the proper location. Begin heading west, and once you’re past the small field of ice spikes, you’ll find an incline upwards. Walk up while dodging the snowballs that are rolling down, and right past it is the platform.
Just drop the snowball directly onto the platform, and you’ll have successfully cleared up the weather for Condé. As mentioned, the yeti will give you a piece of heart for your help. Now that he’s seen you do it, he’s sure he can too. It’s a heartwarming scene in the dead of winter on Hebra Mountain.
