Koschei Complex is where the action happens
Have you ever considered facing off against a Rhino in Call of Duty: Warzone? Well, the “Breaking the Bunker” mission will give you that opportunity. However, there’s a twist — this Rhino isn’t what you might expect. In this mission, your objective is to eliminate both the Sniper and the Rhino (a formidable game boss) in no other than the action-packed Koschei Complex.
But here’s the real challenge — you must complete the mission using a dead drop weapon. If you’re seeking an intense and action-packed task, Black Mous has delivered just that with this Tier 5 mission. Before moving on to the mission, there’s a lot you need to know, so let’s get down to business.
Take the weapon from the Phalanx dead drop
To acquire the weapon for this mission, deploy into the Vondel map, which serves as the main operational base for the Phalanx faction. The designated Phalanx dead drop can be found at the Vondel University POI, marked on the map. Proceed to this location and retrieve the Kastov 762 weapon from the dead drop. While it may not be the most powerful weapon, you can still effectively engage in combat with the right strategy. Once you have obtained the weapon, safely exfiltrate from the area to progress to the next objective.
Kill the Sniper and Rhino using the dead drop weapon
The remaining portion of the mission will take place in the Koschei Complex, a familiar location from previous missions such as Black Mous Spetsnaz Exposed and Crown faction X Marks The Spot. This underground complex can be accessed through any of the bunker entrances indicated on the provided map. If you’ve been here before, you’ll know that Jumper Cables and a Car Battery are required to enter the Chemical Plant. Once inside, search for the Factory Admin Key within the small passages/vents and proceed to the Factory Wing section to start the real fight.
In terms of preparation, it is crucial to come fully equipped with armor plates, munitions boxes, grenades, and self-revives (which can be a lifesaver inside). It’s best not to tackle this mission alone, although veterans can do so if they prefer, having teammates will make things much more manageable.
Here are a few tips to keep in mind:
- Aim for headshots. The Kastov 762 weapon you possess is equipped with a holotherm that helps maintain accuracy when the place is full of smoke due to ‘nades.
- Assign tasks among your teammates. For instance, if you’re a squad of four members, two can focus on the main boss while others handle the AI Soldiers.
- You can weaken the Rhino/Sniper using any other weapon, but be sure to finish them off with the dead drop weapon.
- Be cautious of the Rhino’s melee attacks, as they can temporarily stun you.
Once you have defeated the Rhino, proceed to the second floor to confront the Sniper, keeping the aforementioned points in mind throughout the encounter.
