We’re already halfway through Season 4 of Call of Duty: Warzone, and the season’s end is approaching fast. If you’re on a run to complete all the DMZ missions, you’ll come across a Tier 3 Crown faction mission known as Bottom of the Barrel.

In this mission, you’ll need to trade with the Shopkeeper in the Koschei Complex to acquire a password for a locked door containing critical documents. Convincing the Shopkeeper to trade you the password won’t be easy, and securing those documents will prove to be a challenging and time-consuming task. So let’s dive into the details and discover how to successfully complete Bottom Of The Barrel in DMZ Warzone.

Trade with the Shopkeeper in Koschei Complex

Your first task is to get a passcode from the Shopkeeper by trading a bottle of liquor. To do this, make your way over to the Koschei Complex on Al Mazrah. Check out the map above and follow the markers to find one of the four entrances to the bunker and enter the complex. If you’ve been there before, you know the drill — you’ll need a Car Battery and Jumper Cables to get inside.

You might find these items in the complex itself, but it’s probably better to grab them beforehand. Look for Jumper Cables and Car Battery in toolboxes or at gas stations. Additionally, keep an eye out for places with lots of fridges to find that liquor bottle.

Once you’ve got everything you need, it’s time to enter the Chemical Plant in the Koschei Complex (don’t forget to activate your night vision). While you’re inside, keep an eye out for small passages and vents within the Chemical Plant — they’re hiding spots for the Factory Admin Key.

Once you’ve got that key in your possession, head to the Factory Admin section on the north side of the Chemical Plant. That’s where you’ll find the Shopkeeper. Follow the red markings on the walls — they’ll lead you straight to the Shopkeeper’s dead drop. Now, it’s time for the trade! Hand over that bottle of liquor, and in return, you’ll receive the passcode to unlock the mysterious locked room. With this done, you can proceed to the next task.

Access the locked room and extract the documents

Now, enter the Alpha Cluster within the complex. Some of you might remember this place from the Tier 2 Story mission for the Crown faction called X Marks The Spot. We’re going back there. Here’s what you need to do: Take that Car Battery and Jumper Cables you acquired earlier and place them in the designated spots between the two doors that lead to the cluster. This will open up the door to the cluster, and you’re in.

The first locked door on your left after entering the cluster is the one we’re after. This door holds some valuable documents. Remember that three-digit code you got from the Shopkeeper? Well, punch it into the keypad to unlock the door. Once you’re inside the room, on your left, there they are — the Russian Gas Research Documents. Grab them and make sure you exfil safely. That’s it! With the documents secured, you’ve successfully completed the mission.
