How to collect sandy seafood in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Lovely Monsters Star Path duties in Disney Dreamlight Valley can sometimes come in a riddle-esque form that leaves you asking ‘what does that even mean?’. While most of these aren’t too complicated, some of them can take a little time to complete, depending how lucky you are with spawns.

This Lovely Monsters duty will earn you 10 Laugh Canisters to exchange for rewards. To see how many Laugh Canisters you currently have or exchange them for items, head to the Events tab in the menu and use the tabs on the left to navigate your way. 

How to collect sandy seafood in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To find sandy seafood, you’re going to have to scour the shore of Dazzle Beach to find items which spawn there. You want to keep an eye out for three specific things:

• Oysters
  • Dark blue shells
• Clams
  • Light pink shells
• Scallops
  • Light blue shells

You need to get 30 in total, either of a single type or more realistically a combination of the three and you have two choices for how to go about this. You could do it the ‘proper’ way, collecting all of the spawns and then emptying out the rest of the beach in the hopes of more seafood spawning. This will take a while, however, as there’s only a finite number of spawns which can appear at any given time. 

Your other option will make this process much easier and much quicker: collect all of the seafood that currently litters the shore and then, within your inventory, right click them and select ‘Drop’. Picking them up again will still count towards your total and the completion of the duty, leaving you free to move on to other duties.
