How to solve these Merlin Trial ball puzzles

Once you use the Mallowsweet to unlock the Merlin Trial, it may be confusing as to what to do next. If you see a big round pedestal nearby with a hole in it, you’ll know it’s one of the Merlin Trial ball puzzles. Use Revelio to show close objects; they’ll be highlighted within the darker vision. If you don’t see the ball, try to find a hill. Usually, these balls are at the top of them.

For example, there’s a ball puzzle in Brocburrow southeast of Hogwarts, and the ball is on top of a hill near the neighborhood.

How to pull these giant balls in Hogwarts Legacy

Unlike the athletes in the Strongest Man competitions, you’ll only need Accio to pull the giant balls in Hogwarts Legacy. Lead it down the hill or through a pathway. Make the ball fit inside the pedestal with a hole in it to finish the Merlin Trial.

What other Merlin Trials are there?

The Merlin Trials in Hogwarts Legacy can be challenging, but there are some other simple puzzles to conquer. One of the easiest Merlin Trials revolves around blowing up rocks. With the Bombarda spell, you can annihilate whatever stands in your path.

Another Merlin Trial has you jumping on rocky pathways like Mario. There are nine different variations throughout the world. You’ll need to unlock multiple spells during the story to finish them all.
