Here’s your jam for today: VVVVVV soundtrack, but metal

MMMMMM good

Terry Cavanagh’s gravity-flipping platformer VVVVVV is beloved for many reasons, and for a lot of fans, one of those reasons is Magnus “Souleye” Pålsson’s kicking electronic soundtrack, PPPPPP. I know I have spent afternoons listening to it from start to finish.

To commemorate the iOS and Android releases of VVVVVV, Souleye has teamed up with Jules “FamilyJules7x” Conroy to produce an album made up entirely of metal renditions of the soundtrack. MMMMMM features every song from VVVVVV, as well as two tracks that were added for VVVVVV 2.0. If you liked it before and are not averse to radical guitar solos, it is well worth a listen. You can stream it for free below!
