I’m still surprised that Nintendo is pushing Bayonetta 2 as hard as it is when Wonderful 101 matched their brand effortlessly, and they barely promoted it. As I’ve said in the past, every time I’ve seen this game demoed by a Nintendo representative, it’s extremely awkward as they kind of look away when Bayonetta is being sexual and shrug their shoulders when something really violent happens. Like, am I supposed to enjoy it at that point? Too bad, I’m loving it.
Anyway, Bayonetta 2 got a Nintendo Direct last night, which revealed a few big developments. Most notably, Rodin is playable in Tag Climax mode, and there’s a Fox McCloud costume now. Check out the full broadcast above.
