Here are those great pieces of art from the Super Smash Bros. Direct

Three new challengers

When Ryu released for Super Smash Bros. earlier this year, he brought with him a cool piece of art (though Wii Fit Trainer looks more like a bodybuilder than a yoga instructor in it). Thankfully, it was a tradition continued with the next set of DLC characters, Cloud, Corrin, and Bayonetta.

Cloud’s art was done by Final Fantasy character designer Tetsuya Nomura, and it really shows off the absurdity of the Buster Sword — it absolutely dwarfs Link’s Master Sword. Corrin’s drawing was created by Yusuke Kozaki, an artist on Fire Emblem Fates. Finally, Bayonetta’s piece (the best of the bunch) was composed by Platinum’s Eiji Funahashi. You can check out all three in high resolution in the gallery below.
