Thanks to Xbox360Achievements.org, we now know what the achievements for Halo 3 will be. You’re probably thinking to yourself, since when did ego-boosting nerd points become news? Since now, I suppose.
Some of the achievements include beating campaign mode, collecting skulls, and a bunch of easy multiplayer tasks — they’re all pretty standard, really. The only achievements that stand out in my mind are the meta-game ones, but that’s only because I don’t know what the hell they are.
I think a lot of people were expecting Bungie to go all hardcore on us and make some really tough multiplayer achievements, especially when you consider how many gamers are still playing Halo 2 to this day. Logic tells us that Halo 3 will be the next big multiplayer game for quite a while, so why not give the dedicated fans some achievements that they can be proud of?
