Good Old Games is having an 18-day Summer sale, dubbed the “Summer Hidden Gems” promotion, which starts today and lasts until July 25th. Every day will see a daily deal for one game that will be 60% off. Today, Sanitarium is that game.
I wouldn’t call this a hidden gem exactly, as it’s among the most legendary and demented point & click adventures ever made, but I’ll take it! Some of the puzzles can be a bit arcane and all of it will probably last you a while, so for $3.99 you should just check it out. And play it in the dark. Alone. Imagining you are 12 years old and playing it for the first time.
