A new trailer has debuted in Japan for the Pokemon film ExtremeSpeed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens, and it features quite a bit of footage of the legendary Mewtwo. Billed as a “new form,” (and not an entirely new Pokedex entry), Mewtwo will clash with the also legendary event Pokemon, while Ash, Pikachu and friends tag along for the ride.
You can watch Mewtwo change forms at will in the trailer, or in the short clip below. Tentatively, the new form is being called “Awakened Mewtwo.” In other news, Pikachu will be featured in a short before the movie titled “Pikachu & Eevee Friends.”
