During their press conference, Sony just revealed a brand new platformer for the PlayStation 3 called Puppeteer. Looking very similar in style to LittleBigPlanet, the game is a very solid-looking 2D platformer with a unique mechanic: Using different heads to gain special powers (seriously, the boy-turned-puppet main character removes his head and replaces it with others), players are tasked with navigating through gorgeous stages, solving puzzles, and defeating massive bosses armed only with a pair of scissors.

Not much is known about Puppeteer outside of its surprisingly impressive trailer, but what was shown looks very promising.

I love 2D platformers, and, outside of the LittleBigPlanet visuals, this one gave me a very Dynamite Heady vibe. And I love Dynamite Heady. Can’t wait to learn more about Puppeteer.
