FK in the Steam: Deadly Premonition is out for PC

Locked in at 720p, but there’s already a fix

Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut coming to Steam — even if it weirdly had to go through Greenlight for approval — is a very good thing.

What’s not quite so good is the fact that this version is locked in at 720p. After fixing Dark Souls on PC, Durante is back with DPfix, currently in alpha. It allows users to customize the rendering and display options, something that’s sorely missing from this port. A true hero, this guy.

Once that’s taken care of, you can make the most of this version’s new scenario and bonus DLC. Definitely see what Deadly Premonition is all about if you’re not yet “one of us.” Yes, it’s genuinely worth the $22.49. This is still one of my favorite scenes ever.
