College football season may be long gone, but you die-hard fans have surely been following all of Destructoid’s coverage of NCAA Football 09 (pun definitely intended). So far, EA Sports has only unveiled the box art for the Xbox 360 and Wii versions of the game, though the PS3 cover will be revealed a week from today.
Now, we’ve got some video of NCAA Football 09 in action for the first time, in the form of a minute-and-thirty-eight-second debut trailer (see above). It’s obviously showing off the PS3/360 versions of the game. The trailer flies through the game’s feature set at breakneck speed; you’ll see a good amount of gameplay footage, as well as menu screens and the like. I don’t really follow college sports, but I must say, this game is looking pretty good. Hell, if EA adds Mascot Games to all their sports titles, I’ll be much more likely to pick them up.
NCAA Football 09 will hit stores in July for the PS3, 360, Wii, PS2, and PSP.
