Releasing next spring
Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall is coming to Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC, it was announced during the Microsoft E3 press conference today. After a trailer showing jetpack-wearing soldiers running around, weaving in and out of mech fire, we got a look at live gameplay.
This multiplayer-centric first-person shooter looked like a combination of Call of Duty and Hawken in more ways than one, and I mean that as praise. Coming off of Battlefield 4, which was visually impressive as expected, this seemed, well, fun. And while the graphics weren’t mindblowing, it all ran smoothly enough. You get to jump on a mech’s back and shoot it in the neck! I’m in.
