Firefall now has its own official cosplay team

You might have heard of Firefall, Red 5 Studios’ upcoming Free-to-Play FPS, but what you might not have heard of is that said studio has gone off and cast an official cosplay team made up of Lee Reherman (maybe you’ve seen him as “Hawk” on American Gladiators?) who’s going to be dressing up as “Typhon” and Crystal Graziano who’s, um, pretty and will be walking around as “Mourningstar.”

Both will be accompanying Red 5 to future events throughout 2012, wearing costumes crafted by Steve Wang and his team. It’s hard to deny that the costumes themselves are nicely done, but am I the only one who thinks that this is a little too much? Not so much the fact that they’ve created THAT, but really the huge deal Red 5 seem to be making over it.

Have a look at the two videos Red 5 have released showing the effort that went into making these things. But whatever you do, don’t try to screw around with Lee while visiting a Firefall booth — you know, pulling funny faces or calling him names — because he will knock you the hell out.
