Spike’s excellent wrestling title Fire Pro Wrestling World isn’t quite done bringing new tools and modes to its retro-styled square circle. The publisher has revealed release windows for a glut of extra content headed to the sandbox grappler.

The Fire Promoter mode is still planned for release this year, allowing players the opportunity to build, promote and run their very own fantasy federation. What’s that? Shayna Baszler just won every world championship? And Kairi Sane is booked for every Wrestlemania match? Well, that’s my booking done.

In early 2019, a new story scenario will launch, retelling the story of 2017’s NJPW’s Junior Heavyweight Championship. This will be followed at a later date with another as-yet-announced scenario. All the above DLC is included with the Deluxe Edition and Season Pass of FPW, or will be available for purchase separately.

Away from the DLC SPike has also announced that they are working on patches to improve various aspects of FPW, including the reduction of online lag, reduction of the PS4 edition’s awful load times, and a rework of the game’s notorious clunky UI system, a problem which has been with the series since Shawn Michaels lost his smile.

Fire Pro Wrestling World is available now on PS4 and PC.
