Football more popular than monsters
Electronic Arts FIFA 18 is celebrating its third week at the number one spot in the U.K. Charts, having held off the debuts of both Middle-earth: Shadow of War, which comes in at number two, and The Evil Within 2, which debuted at three.
The two new third-person adventures slammed into the Top Five, pushing back the Forza duo that made a huge impact last week. I am somewhat surprised that Shadow of War didn’t take the top spot, despite its numerous controversies, but it wasn’t to be, at least not this week.
There were few shake-ups to the chart standings aside from that. Survival horror title Friday the 13th also saw a physical release this week, debuting modestly at number fifteen.
