Fields of Mistria Bug guide: All Bugs and how to catch them

Grab your bug net, we're going hunting

Bug Catching is a fairly underutilized aspect in a lot of farming simulators, but it’s pretty central in Fields of Mistria. There are a huge number of Bugs to be caught, and if you want to fill out the Insect Wing of the Museum, you’ll need to pick up a bug net.

On that subject, Bug Nets are the only tool that cannot be improved upon. Just in case you’re thinking about spending your precious Iron or Silver ingots to upgrade a Bug Net – don’t bother. The only change this will result in is an aesthetic one, and the Bug Net itself is no better or different from the Worn Bug Net you get from Luc at the beginning of a play-through.

All season Bugs

There are a total of seven Bugs that can spawn during any season, so they’re arguably the easiest to find. Only one of these Bugs has any weather or time requirements:

  • Fuzzy Moth
    • Weather: Sun/Wind
    • Time: 8 p.m. – 2 a.m.

The rest of these Bugs can be found on the Beach at any time of the day and have no weather requirements:

  • Beach Hopper
  • Hermit Crab
  • Relic Crab
  • Sand Bug
  • Surf Beetle
  • Waterbug

Spring/Summer/Fall Bugs

There are 10 Bugs which can spawn at any time outside of Winter, and half of them have specific weather and time requirements.
