Elder Scrolls Online to offer ‘welcome back’ weekend for prior beta participants

Did you try out the beta for The Elder Scrolls Online and promptly dip out before the final game was actually out? You’ll have a chance to jump in and see what the new subscription-free version is all about next weekend, from April 17 at 10AM EST until Monday April 20 at the same time.

If you’re confused why you’d need such access, remember, Elder Scrolls Online is not free-to-play — it still requires you to purchase the base game before you can enjoy it without a subscription. It’s still currently on track for an Xbox One and PS4 release on June 9.
