The sixth server maintenance for EA Sports College Football 25 has been announced, and it will take place on August 1.
The college football simulator continues to make positive impressions among fans, following global launch. But some issues remain as the developers continue to rectify the situation. The exact purpose of the server maintenance hasn’t been confirmed, but the developers have provided some important information, including the starting time and which game modes will be affected.
When will the EA Sports College Football 25 maintenance (August 1) begin?
CFBDirect posted information about the maintenance on X. According to the tweet, the maintenance will commence at 6 a.m. ET/3 a.m. PT/5 a.m. CST. Once the maintenance goes live, all forms of matchmaking will be temporarily stopped, and normal services will be restored once the server downtime is over.
So far, EA Sports hasn’t mentioned any information regarding when the maintenance on August 1 will end.
This maintenance will affect players on all available platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. Also, the Team Builder website will be down once the server maintenance begins.
Which EA Sports College Football 25 modes will be affected?
All modes that have online matchmaking will be affected when the servers go down. This includes the entirety of the Ultimate Team mode, as you have to sign in to the servers to access the content. The same applies to any form of friendlies and seasons that depend on online matchmaking.
Offline modes like Road to Glory and Dynasty should still be available for the players. Road to Glory is the best experience of what a college athlete’s life feels like as players go from being mere rookies to draft candidates for the NFL (you can even export your save file to Madden NFL 25 when the game comes out in August).
