The Greats of the Game promo is one of the best releases in EA FC 24 Ultimate Team.
A promo that only includes Heroes and Icons will be popular, and we have seen that in the past with the Golazo cards. Unlike Golazo, many of the Greats of the Game items are at the top of the meta, featuring four playstyles+. However, they do have differences in quality, as not all of them are equally effective.
All EA FC 24 Greats of the Game players ranked
I have used five categories to rank all the available Hero and Icon items currently available in the promo.
- S tier: These are the very best items, and they are at the top of the meta power curve.
- A tier: Almost as good as the S tier items, with a few demerits.
- B tier: Good cards that are slightly away from the top spot. They can improve with a full set of upgrades.
- C tier: Okay items which require a lot of individual player skills to excel.
- D tier: Cards best suited for beginners.

It’s worth noting that Icons and Heroes always feel slightly overpowered when used in the game. Even the names on the C and D-tier can do well if you know what you’re doing. However, they’re just weaker compared to those who are placed in the higher tiers. All Team 2 cards are eligible for two levels of upgrades, and there might be some movement between the tiers based on that.
