One of the biggest streams of E3, no doubt
After all of those studio acquisitions, Xbox is primed for a special E3 2021. The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase starts at 10:00 a.m. Pacific, and it should be one to remember.

Even in the tamest years, Xbox’s E3 streams have encapsulated a wide range of games across genres, platforms, and team sizes — there’s always been something to latch onto, even when the first-party exclusives have fallen into the same old routines. Now, Xbox has a treasure trove of IPs and studios to tap into. Big, flashy, needle-moving games aren’t made overnight, but we should finally start to see some cool stuff here.
Microsoft says the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will last 90 minutes and detail “games coming to Xbox this holiday, upcoming releases on Xbox Game Pass, and more.”
I’m not one-hundred percent sure what to expect, and that’s exciting. Even relatively known quantities like Halo Infinite and Psychonauts 2 should put on a good show. Once we start thinking about Game Pass blowouts, full reveals of CG-trailer-teased games (please show more of Perfect Dark and/or Fable!), and other what-ifs — especially on the Bethesda side — I feel like this hour-and-a-half presser is going to fly by.
Am I setting my expectations too high? Eh, probably. But that’s half the fun of E3.
